Hotel Property Drying, Mold and Demo (Case Study)

Fire occurred on the exterior of the property which caused the sprinkler system to engage on all floors. The property sat wet for an extended amount of time while client was negotiating with insurance carrier. CRUSA was then brought in to handle the restoration process and removal of all contaminated materials within the building structure. The main focus was to get the building turned around in the quickest possible fashion. It was slated to take 30 days and CRUSA completed the job at the highest level in 18 days.


  • Full Demolition of contaminated building products (drywall, trim, roofing flooring)
  • Completed a full moveout of the contents to secure containers
  • Identified and cataloged all damaged contents
  • Dry out and climate control of the entire 4 floor facility
  • Cleaned and sanitized all surfaces in the entire facility

  • Installed commercial drying desiccant units to provide 3 air exchanges per hour
